Welcome to our prestigious guest house at the gates of Aix-en-Provence! The bastide in which you will stay was built in the 19th century, it was a hunting lodge and an outbuilding of the Château de Valmousse. The history of La Bastide des Grands Chênes is directly linked to that of the Château. The bastide has been brought up to date, while preserving its history and authenticity. Each space continues to proudly represent the past of this emblematic building of the region. La Bastide des Grands Chênes is an ideal place for relaxation, leisure and meetings.

Our charming guest house is located just 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, in the countryside of the village of Lambesc. You will be quiet, in an exotic place, but close to the largest cities of the Côte d'Azur and points of interest in the region. Recharge your batteries in this enchanting place, surrounded by nature.
The authenticity of the place
Our charming guest house and its 530 m² have been decorated in a bohemian-chic style. Its past, its history and its authenticity have not been tainted. You will enjoy resting in your room, sharing a pleasant moment in the living room with the library or finding yourself in the tree-lined garden.
Breakfast
Each morning, between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., we offer a gourmet breakfast which will be served in the garden or on the veranda, depending on the weather. Take the time to eat the most important meal of the day, filling your plate with bread, pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meats, cereals, yogurt and hot drinks.

On sunny days, take a walk in our 8,000 m² wooded park. You will enjoy sitting in the shade of a large oak tree, in the garden furniture or on the terrace. To refresh you from May to September, we put at your disposal a swimming pool 15 m long by 6 wide. All around you will find sunbeds and parasols. We will lend you swimming pool foutas.

At the Bastide des Grands Chênes, we offer four charming and prestigious guest rooms at the gates of Aix en Provence. You can reach your room between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and you must leave it before 11 a.m. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the Bastide. On request, we can lend you a cot.
